Dementia patients in Australia are set to take part in a large scale clinical trial of a new herbal medicine known as Sailuotong. The drug, which contains a combination of saffron, ginkgo and ginseng, has been found to help improve blood flow to the brain and retard memory loss typically associated with dementia.
