A new study conducted by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration reveals that the Arctic cod, a high fat fish important in the food chain in the Arctic region, is very susceptible to the gradual warming of water temperatures in northern oceans. Even at slight temperature changes from 32 degrees to 35.5 degrees Fahrenheit could spell doom for this fish.
