Salmon Dying By The Thousands In Hot U.S. Rivers

Officials from Oregon's fish and wildlife department report that out of the 507,000 sockeye salmon that swam through two dams of the Columbia River, only 272,000 of the fish were able to survive the journey. This mass die-off of salmon is believed to be cause by the increase in water temperatures in the region.
