A Game of Thrones-based MMORPG could reportedly be coming from Nexon, the company behind 'The Finals,' as rumors from Redanian Intelligence recently surfaced online.

Fans of Witcher should be extremely familiar with Redanian Intelligence; the website has already published several leaks that turned out to be correct.

While this does not prove the story is accurate, the outlet provided some game-related information, giving it credibility.

Instead of being based on George R.R. Martin's A Song of Fire and Ice books, the game will occur between Seasons 4 and 5 of the television series.

Although other kingdoms have not been ruled out, Redanian Intelligence has only confirmed the North as the game's location.

Instead of controlling any members of the show's cast, players will create their own male or female characters. However, there will be recognizable faces from the show, such as Sam Tarly and Jon Snow.

Game of Thrones Voice Cast

Currently, there is no indication of whether Snow will truly resemble actor Kit Harrington or one of the likenesses from the series. As Redanian Intelligence points out, "at least in the current iteration of the game," none of the performers are expected to provide a voice.

That seems to allow for some flexibility, and it's important to remember that some actors have returned to their previous roles (Maisie Williams, for example, voices Arya Stark in MultiVersus).

Though it will be played online, gamers wishing for an offline single-player experience may have to look elsewhere. The game is anticipated to feature a story campaign. It is unknown how far along development is on the game or when it will be released.

Best Game of Thrones Videogame

Game of Thrones-based videogames remain a mixed bag. To date, the best game based on the hit series reportedly remains to be 'Reigns: Game of Thrones."

Reigns is a line of strategy games that employs the popular swipe feature from dating apps like Tinder to produce fun games where the player must choose between two options: yes or no.

The game is tough and captivating because of the ramifications of every option, even though they appear straightforward at first.

Reigns brilliantly incorporated their tried-and-true technique into Game of Thrones. Although the game is simple to pick up and play, its strategy can be challenging to master.

As they sit on the Iron Throne and make decisions, players assume the roles of Jon Snow, Cersei Lannister, Daenerys Targaryen, Tyrion Lannister, or Sansa Stark.

The player must carefully consider every decision since they have to strike a balance between military might, religious favor, domestic appeal, and state prosperity.
