Michael Bay’s maligned “Transformers” movies may lack strong dialogue and nuanced characters, but there is no denying their sheer spectacle. With his legendary eye for explosions and mayhem behind the camera, Bay’s “Transformers” movies have excelled at the robot-on-robot action over the years.

Thankfully, YouTube user UltraDangerLord has cut out the superfluous dialogue and paper-thin plots of the “Transformers” movies and created one 19-minute supercut of the entire trilogy. This supercut encompasses only the robot-on-robot fight scenes from the first three movies of the series: “Transformers,” “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” and “Transformers: Dark of the Moon.”

In addition to highlighting the series’ phenomenal special effects work, the video also illuminates the fact that these “Transformers” movies don’t actually feature as much robot action as you would expect.

By cutting around the human involvement during these scenes, this supercut is pure mayhem without plot or direction. And for fans of the series, this version of the trilogy might actually be an improvement on the real thing.

There’s no Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox or any other human to distract you from watching the pure, unbridled action on the screen. It also points out that Bay’s films are much more authentic Transformers experiences than most people realize. Once you take the humans out of the equation, you’ll realize what a great job Bay and his special effects team at ILM have done on these bots.

Bay’s “Transformers” movies take a lot of heat from fans and critics, but it’s obvious that someone out there enjoys them. Over the course of four films, the series has brought in more than $3 billion at the worldwide box office. Sure the human stories and the plots don’t make much sense, but when you boil it all down to the robot-on-robot fights like this supercut has, you’ll realize there is a lot to like here for action aficionados.

You might not always like to admit it, but there is always something thrilling about watching a Michael Bay action scene. And now you can thank UltraDangerLord for giving you 19 minutes of nothing but explosions and robot violence. Check out the video below:
