Already receiving more than $4 million dollars on the crowdfunding site Kickstarter, many media reports say the Coolest Cooler is the "cooler of your dreams" and could be a game changer for the rest of this summer.

Creator Ryan Grepper aims to take the regular cooler filled with ice and transform it into something innovative as it will have a number of neat features including a built-in rechargeable blender for cocktails and smoothies.

Only six other ideas on Kickstarter have earned more money than the Coolest Cooler, and with more than a month to go in the funding process, it could surpass all those and become the most-funded project on the site.

"Regular coolers are boring, break easily and are a hassle to haul around just to carry the ice. The coolest cooler is 60 quarts of awesome packed with so much fun you'll look for excuses to get outside more often," says the Kickstarter campaign, which initially had asked for $50,000, but has earned massively more.

According to Grepper on the Kickstarter page, the cooler will come with an 18v battery that is fully rechargeable, a removable waterproof Bluetooth speaker, USB charger, LED lid light, cutting board and cooler divider, integrated storage for plates and knives, a bottle opener and much more. This is the cooler for the future and has all the bells and whistles to get the avid beachgoer excited.

Pour a chilled cocktail while listening to some music. Check. This cooler does that.

"Maybe you just want to always have music on hand with the waterproof Bluetooth speaker or want to recharge your electronics with the built-in USB charger?" the campaign adds.

With a donation of $165 to the campaign, the cooler will be yours when it begins shipping in February next year. Grepper also released a video of the new Coolest Cooler in an effort to get more people interested in the product. It appears to have been a wide success.

Even with the overall innovation in the cooler, most observers -- and even Grepper -- appear shocked at the popular response it has received, especially all the money that is flowing in from supporters who want to get their hands on the latest in cooler technology.
