The Samsung Galaxy Golden 3, which is believed to be known as the SM-W2016, is now officially certified by the TENAA in China. Based on the listing, the flip phone is coming in with some awesome hardware.

First off, it's not sure whether SM-W2016 is really the code name for the Samsung Galaxy Golden 3 or not. Some users only came to this conclusion based on the code given to the first Samsung Galaxy Golden and Galaxy Golden 2, which are SM-W2014 and SM-W2015 respectively, but the latter never got released. Logically speaking, the Galaxy Golden 3 fits the name SM-W2016 like a glove.

Based on TENAA's listing, the handset will sport both external and internal 3.9-inch displays with 768 x 1,280 resolutions. However, according to GFXBench's leak, it'll be fitted with 4.6-inch display, which raises questions regarding the flip smartphone's real screen size. At 3.9 inches, it'll have around 382 ppi. On the other hand, at 4.6 inches, it'll be about 324 ppi.

Out of the box, it will be running on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, and it will be powered by a 2.1 GHz processor along with 3 GB worth of RAM. TENAA didn't specify the details of the chipset, but if GFXBench's leak holds true, the upcoming smartphone will have a Samsung Exynos 7 and a MaliT760 MP8 GPU to boot. In terms of storage capacity, it will come with non-expandable 64 GB built in.

The handset will also feature a 16 MP rear-facing camera and a 5 MP front-facing camera. It's a bit thick at 0.59 inches, but that's expected out of a flip phone, not to mention that the first Galaxy Golden is 0.62 inches thick.

The listing, however, does not include pictures of the Samsung Galaxy Golden 3, and Samsung is yet to comment about its official release, so it's advised to take this with a grain of salt.
