Whovians, get ready to welcome an old favorite back because Tom Baker's Fourth Doctor is back on the Time and Relative Dimension in Space (T.A.R.D.I.S.) to continue his adventures on paper. That's right, the quirky, multi-colored scarf-wearing Doctor and his lovable companion Sarah Jane Smith have just landed their own five-part comic book series.

Titan Comics is behind the Fourth Doctor's "Gaze of the Medusa," set in Victorian England. The series is written by Gordon Rennie and Emma Beeby and illustrated by Brian Williamson who also illustrates the twelfth Doctor comics. However, unlike the ongoing comic books of the reincarnations played by Paul McGann, Christopher Eccleston, David Tenant, Matt Smith, and Peter Capaldi, Tom Baker's Doctor comics is limited since it will only have five issues.

The tease description for the story sets it up in England where a mysterious woman leads a secret army in a "house of the blind." In addition, there is a presence of an insatiably-hungry predatory alien entity that seems to have its roots in Earth's prehistory, as well as creatures called Scryclops that stalk the streets.

The Fourth Doctor has been busy making cameo appearances in the 2005 BBC revival, which includes the very recent "The Witch's Familiar" episode wherein Missy, formerly "The Master," recounts her fight with android assassins leading Clara Oswin Oswald to deduce that The Doctor's survival in deadly situations rests on his own assumptions of winning. Now he triumphs again because this Gallifreyan Time Lord incarnation will hit the shelves along with five of his more recent regenerations.

Sarah Jane Smith also made an appearance in the Tenth Doctor's adventures along with K-9, where it was discovered that she continued to work on strange cases that involved aliens.

The first issue of "Doctor Who: The Fourth Doctor" will materialize physically and digitally in March 2016, with cover art by Alice X. Zhang.
