Oh, Carol. The people on "The Walking Dead" would be famished from defeating zombies if it weren't for your cooking. Carol is definitely one of the audience favorites and if you're one of those who admire her, then what better way to celebrate Thanksgiving than bringing her cooking to your table.

For Carol's potato casserole, you're going to need:

  • A 9x13-inch pan;
  • 2 cans of cream of celery soup (10.75 oz each);
  • 2 1/2 cups of American cheese, shredded;
  • A tablespoon of all-purpose flour;
  • A teaspoon of garlic salt;
  • A pack of frozen hash brown potatoes (30 oz, thawed); and
  • Pepper and paprika for seasoning.

To get cooking:

  1. Pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Prep the pan.
  3. Stir together celery soup, 2 cups of the cheese, all-purpose flour and garlic salt in a bowl.
  4. Add in the hash browns. Make sure they are evenly coated by tossing them thoroughly in the bowl.
  5. Pour the mixture into the pan.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the mixture and season with pepper and paprika.
  7. Place pan in the oven and bake mixture for 45 minutes or until it's golden brown.

Turkey is the usual centerpiece for Thanksgiving but making ham the star of the night isn't such a bad idea, especially if it's Carol's cola ham. For Carol's cola ham, make sure you have:

  • A crock pot;
  • 3 1/2 lbs. ham (fully cooked)
  • 1/3 cup of brown sugar;
  • A tablespoon of Dijon mustard; and
  • 2 cans of cola (12 oz. each).

To make the cola ham:

  1. Place the ham in the crock pot.
  2. Combine brown sugar and Dijon mustard in a bowl to make a paste.
  3. Rub the paste onto the ham.
  4. Pour the cola into the crock pot (not over the ham as this will wash away some of the sugar-mustard paste).
  5. Cook on low for six to eight hours.

Carol also has a recipe for cookies in case there's still room in your Thanksgiving spread or you just want cookies.

Isn't she the best?!
