Yes, that is The Dude playing a grizzled gunslinger. Graphic designer Tom Muller has put together an infographic that shows how all of the films from directing duo Joel and Ethan Coen are interconnected.

Starting from 1984's "Blood Simple" to 2013's "Inside Llewyn Davis," we get a rundown of the various actors and how they played different characters from one film to the next. Frances McDormand, who starred as Marge Gunderson in "Fargo," and John Goodman, who played Walter in "The Big Lebowski," lead the count with six films each. (McDormand is Joel's wife.) The Coen Brothers have made 16 films in their 30-year career together.

The infographic also provides some additional infomation on the left, showing whether each film was nominated for or had won an Academy Award, Golden Globe or BAFTA award. It also marks the year the film was released and who got the director credit.

According to Co.Create, the infographic was made by Muller several years ago, but was recently updated to include the Coen brothers' latest film "Inside Llewyn Davis" and the award nominations it has received.

Another chart published about the Coen brothers was created by Josh Neufeld shows how well-rated the brothers' films were rated on Rotten Tomatoes, Metacritic and IMDB, and how that correlates with the films Academy Award nominations and wins. This chart indicates that "Inside Llewyn Davis" did not rate as high as 2007's "No Country for Old Men," which won four times, and so may not win any Oscars.

The Coen brothers are known for creating eccentric and quirky films. They have also been labeled as auteurs, since they not only direct, but have also written, produced and edited their films themselves.

For most of the duo's 16 films, Joel Cohen received sole credit for directing and Ethan would be credited for producing, due to the rules of the Director's Guild of America. Since 2003 and "The Ladykillers" both are properly credited as directors, since the DGA now considers them an "established duo," with 10 films under their collective belt by that point.

As the infographics indicate, between their 16 films, the duo have received 35 Academy Award nominations and six wins; 30 Golden Globe nominations and three wins; as well as 31 BAFTA nominations and five wins.

Reportedly, the Coen brothers' next film with be "Hail Caesar." The film is said to be a comic look behind the scenes of 1950's Hollywood. Coen Brothers' alums George Clooney and Josh Brolin will appear in the film. Clooney will star as a private detective who fixes problems for film studios.
