Customers that are looking to score a Nexus smartphone for a great price can take advantage of an offer in eBay, where an unlocked 32 GB version of the Motorola Nexus 6 is being sold for an amazing price of $279.99.

The original offer by the seller was launched in late September, with the same unlocked 32 GB Nexus 6 being sold but at the price of $299.99. Since then, the eBay deal has been revived a few times, with the seller maintaining the $299.99 price.

Stocks have been quick to go every time the offer goes up, and with the eBay seller deciding to drop the price of the offer for the Nexus 6 by an additional $20 to $279.99, stocks could run out even faster.

Just to be clear, the Motorola-made Nexus 6 is a different device from the current flagship Nexus smartphone, the Huawei-made Nexus 6P. The Nexus 6, which originally had a retail price of $649 upon its launch late last year, ships with Android 5.0 Lollipop. The 5.7-inch smartphone is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 805 and an Adreno 420 GPU, with 3 GB of RAM.

The Nexus 6 might already be more than a year old, but it is still one of the best Nexus devices currently out in the market. At a price of only $279.99, the eBay offer can be considered a steal, though only the cloud white color option is available.

Customers that are looking to take advantage of the offer will have to hurry though, as at the time of writing, over 64 percent of the device's stocks has already been sold with 2,360 units purchased. Shipping within the U.S. is free, and that could help customers hasten their decision to buy the smartphone.

The eBay seller notes that the Nexus 6 may not be supported by Verizon and Sprint, but the issue with getting customer-owned smartphones supported by these carriers has since been resolved. For AT&T and T-Mobile subscribers, there should not be any problem with getting the Nexus 6 to work with the carrier.
