The popular picture sharing app, Snapchat, is down at the moment for several users around the world. Reports of the app being offline has been circling on Twitter for quite some time.

The company has quickly recognized the problem and has stated that its engineers are working on a fix as according to a recent tweet on Twitter.

"Some Snapchatters are currently experiencing loading issues. Our team is aware of the problem and working on a fix now."

DownDetector provided a map that shows where in the world the outage is being felt most. Unfortunately, users from the Netherlands, Southern England, North France and Norway are the worst hit. Furthermore, many users in Australia and the U.S. west coast are also experiencing issues with Snapchat.

Issues range from several different things. Some users are complaining of the inability to send snaps, unable to log-in to the app among other things. One user claims that she was unable to refresh, and once she logged out, she could not log back in.

The best possible move right now for users is to wait it out, or just do not log out of the app because it might be impossible to log back in until the issue has been fixed.

Still, some users, while experiencing many problems, are still able to use Snapchat in some instances. Some users who kept trying to log-in or send snaps have been successful, but after a while, things went downhill once more. This might prove that the service has not gone completely offline, and might be working sporadically for the time being.

One guy on Twitter made an amazing breakfast and is unsure of what to do now since Snapchat is offline. We're guessing he wants to share his masterpiece with friends.

"Just made an amazing breakfast but Snapchat's down so *** am I supposed to do? " according to Kian on Twitter.

This isn't the first time Snapchat has hit rock bottom, and it certainly won't be the last. The best thing users can do is just sit back, drink some coffee, and wait it out.
