It appears that Facebook's boss Mark Zuckerberg is on a paternity leave to attend to his important appointment: a meeting with his two-week-old little angel Maxima.

On Tuesday, Dec. 8, Mark Zuckerberg shared on Facebook a photo which shows off a priceless, cute moment with his newborn daughter and suggests that he is such a one proud dad. This immediately garnered several likes and comments and immediately made the rounds on the Web.

"Full of joy with little Max," reads the caption of the photo posted by Zuckerberg, showing him lying on a rug and smiling at Max.

Zuckerberg and wife Priscilla Chan divulged last week that they intend to give away 99 percent of their Facebook shares, which translates to around $45 billion, to initiate the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative. They believe that this donation will significantly contribute to make the world better and to give their daughter a good place to live in.

"Your mother and I don't yet have the words to describe the hope you give us for the future," writes the couple in an open letter to their newborn on Dec. 1, the national day of giving which is also known as #GivingTuesday. "Your new life is full of promise, and we hope you will be happy and healthy so you can explore it fully."

They said Max gave them the motivation to reflect on the world she will live in.

However, the couple's announcement has stirred a slew of unwanted criticisms. While quite a few people, including Michael Bloomberg and Bill gates, lauded Zuckerberg and his wife for their generosity, other people seemed to question their motives. They even called the move a tax evasion ploy.

"By using an LLC instead of a traditional foundation, we receive no tax benefit from transferring our shares to the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative," writes the Facebook CEO on a post. "[B]ut we gain flexibility to execute our mission more effectively."

Zuckerberg is currently on a two-month leave from his work to enjoy the moment with his little one and Priscilla.

"Stay blessed always Mark Zuckerberg... A daughter is indeed a blessing... am sure she is going to MAXimize the Joy in your Life!! MARK my words :))" writes Facebook user Bharathi Mohan, commenting on Zuckerberg's post.

"Max Zuckerberg! Mark you are a loving and proud parent.Congratulations once more!" user Panagiotis Magoulas notes.
