Google has announced a new promotion for its Chromecast, essentially offering anyone who purchases the small streaming device $20 in Google Play Store credit.

That's not a small offer, considering the fact that the Chromecast itself is only $30 — so, if you have been waiting to buy a few things from the Play Store, then buy a Chromecast, and you'll only spend $10, a mere third of what the device costs.

Users don't even have to buy the Chromecast directly from Google to quality for the deal — those who buy it from Best Buy or Walmart can still get the credit after they activate the device.

The Google Chromecast essentially allows users to stream or "cast" content from their phones, computers and so on. It plugs into the TV's HDMI port, and after connecting the device to your other devices, a small button to cast that content will appear, making for an extremely easy process.
