The music of John Williams is one of the essential components of any Star Wars film. Each and every track is iconic, capable of sending shivers down the spine of kids and adults alike.

So when you think Star Wars music video, a Chinese pop star's new song probably doesn't come to mind. That is, however, how Disney is marketing the film in China. It has partnered with one of China's biggest pop sensations, Lu Han, for an official Star Wars: The Force Awakens promotional song titled "Inner Force." And it has a music video to go along with it.

The song itself doesn't have all that much to do with the film, but the music video features tons of Force Awakens footage we've seen in trailers previously. Lu Han also gets to dress up like a Jedi, use the force and dance in a warehouse.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens arrives in China on Saturday, Jan. 9. When it does, expect the film to earn millions more, quite possibly enough for it to pass Jurassic World, Titanic and Avatar at the worldwide box office. Though the film is already #1 when it comes to domestic gross, it will have to perform exceptionally well if it wants to beat out Avatar worldwide.

And that's exactly what this music video is for. With legions of fans, Lu Han wielding a lightsaber in the video will no doubt help fill theater seats this weekend. You can watch the full music video below.
