That's me looking into the mirror.

But that's not just any mirror. It's BMW's Connected Mirror and if the automaker has its way, they'll be in the homes of the masses soon, whether in their bedrooms, kitchens, or hallways.

The Connected Mirror concept is made to thrive in a smart home, keeping its users — or self-admirers in this case — connected with information that's vital to them for the day via BMW's cloud system.

Say you wake up in the morning and look in the mirror — the way many do to start their days. Not only will you see a reflection of yourself, like any other mirror, but also your agenda for the day will pop up on the unit, showing everything from appointments to the weather and even ways to save energy in both your smart home and car.

A demonstration of the smart mirror at BMW's booth outside of the Las Vegas Convention Center, as part of the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2016, showed the possibilities of how the unit could be used in conjunction with the automaker's smart vehicles, especially ones with enhanced driver-assist technologies, like self-parking, and autonomous vehicles down the line.

Using the mirror, a BMW rep was able to command an autonomous BMW protoype to self-park in the garage outside of the automaker's CES booth. The home and car owner would then get a live stream of footage, showing the car park itself in the garage, right on the mirror.

If you take one last look in the mirror to end your night, you could be hit with reminders of what your schedule looks like tomorrow.

Mirror, mirror on the wall ... tell me everything I need to know.
