The classic 1966 Batman television show starring Adam West is known for being over the top, with Batman using zany gadgets like shark repellent to win the day. The show is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2016, and what better way to celebrate than with a massive new LEGO set inspired by the show?

LEGO unveiled the new set today, and it comes loaded with new minifigures: nine to be exact. Those who buy will snag figures for Batman, Robin, Bruce Wayne, Dick Grayson, Alfred Pennyworth, Catwoman, Penguin, Riddler and of course, Cesar Romero's iconic Joker, complete with painted white mustache.

The set includes more than 2,500 pieces to build the Batcave (complete with Batcomputer and Batlab), a section of Wayne Manor (complete with false bookcase) and the 1966 Batmobile. The Batmobile isn't the only vehicle included, however. Fans will also have the opportunity to construct the Batcopter and Batcycle as well.

If you're wondering how much all of this will cost, it's not cheap. These type of premium LEGO sets are geared more toward adult collectors than kids, and the price tag shows. After all, what kid would want a LEGO set featuring the 1966 Batman? If, however, you are interested in snagging the set, it will retail for $269.99 when it goes on sale March 1. You can check out some detailed looks at the set below.
