HTC is expected to unveil its One M10 smartphone at an event in March. An image of the next-gen flagship handset has been posted on Twitter by a reliable source.

Samsung is preparing to make its 2016 flagship smartphones official on Feb. 21 to kick off Mobile World Congress 2016. The company is expected to launch the 5.1-inch Galaxy S7 and 5.5-inch Galaxy S7 Edge, which are both rumored to bring back two features the company dropped from last year's Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge.

Multiple reports have claimed the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge would include waterproof cases and microSD expansion slots, in addition to Qualcomm's latest 64-bit processor, the Snapdragon 820. While Samsung has seen images and details regarding both smartphones leak, one of its main rivals, HTC has managed to keep its upcoming flagship smartphone under lock and key, until now.

The always-reliable evleaks posted an image on Twitter of what is reportedly the HTC One M10 'Perfume.' As you can see in the image above, the One M10 features the same iPhone 6-inspired design as the HTC One A9, complete with a round home button/fingerprint scanner. One very noticeable omission appears to be the company's popular dual-front-facing BoomSound speakers, which have appeared on its predecessors since the One M7 was launched in 2013.

The HTC One M10 will reportedly feature a 5.1-inch 2560 x 1440 Quad HD AMOLED display, will be powered by either a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor or MediaTek chip depending on region and will have 4 GB of RAM. The handset will run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and updated version of HTC Sense 8.0.

Users can expect the HTC One M10 to ship with 32 GB of internal storage and a microSD expansion slot. Its camera capabilities are rumored to include a 12-megapixel UltraPixel rear camera with laser autofocus, OIS (optical image stabilization) and 4-megapixel UltraPixel front-facing shooter for selfies and video chat.

While HTC has used Mobile World Congress in the past to take the wraps off of its next-gen flagship smartphone, the company is reportedly planning to take the wraps off the HTC One M10 at a press event in March.

As always, we'll keep you posted on any new details regarding the HTC One M10 as they become available.
