If you're sick of Netflix or the free one-month subscription is nearly over and you don't want to start paying for the service, you can easily cancel it in a number of ways.

Netflix is among the world's most popular media streaming services and it has a vast trove of content available to users. Last month, the service launched in a slew of additional countries worldwide, greatly expanding its global presence.

On issue, however, is that Netflix offers geo-limited content, which means that some global users dreaming of the United States-based Netflix had a huge disappointment.

Netflix offers a free one-month trial for new users, after which it turns into a paid subscription. For many new users who signed up for the trial as soon as it became available on Jan. 6, that freemium period is now ready to end on Saturday.

To sign up for the free trial, users have to submit their credit or debit card details so Netflix can start charging them once the free trial ends. This means that those who don't cancel their subscription in time will be automatically billed. However, Netflix does give you a heads-up a few days before your trial is about to end.

Whether the trial period is nearly over or you simply don't want to continue with your Netflix subscription for one reason or another, here's how to cancel your subscription.

It's simple and easy and you can cancel it via the Netflix Web page, your Android device, your iOS device (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch) or via iTunes.

Cancel Netflix Via Website

Cancelling your Netflix subscription via the company's website may be the easiest of all, as it only takes two steps. All you have to do is head over to the Netflix cancellation page and select Finish Cancellation (see image above). That's it.

Cancel Netflix Via Android

If you'd rather cancel your Netflix subscription from the Netflix app for Android, you have three simple steps. First off, open the app and swipe from left to right to open the menu. From there, go toward the end of the listed options until you find Account (under Settings). Selecting it will take you to a browser page where you can see your account details, including the option to Cancel Membership. Select that option, tap Finish Cancellation and you're done.

Cancel Netflix Via iOS

If you signed up for Netflix via iOS or iTunes, you'll have a few extra steps to take to cancel your subscription. It's still pretty easy and straightforward though, so fret not, here's how to complete the cancellation process on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch.

On your iOS device, open the App Store, swipe to the bottom, tap Apple ID and select View Apple ID. If prompted to sign in, enter your Apple ID password and tap OK. Head over to Subscriptions, select Manage and then select Netflix. You have a switch to turn automatic renewal or on off, so you can cancel or renew your subscription there. The toggle will appear red if automatic renewal is off, so Netflix will not automatically charge you for another month.

Cancel Netflix Via iTunes

If you prefer to cancel your Netflix subscription via iTunes, first of all sign in to iTunes and enter your Apple ID and password. From there, select the user icon on the top right, tap Account Info, enter your password and select View Account. Access Settings, select Subscriptions and then Manage. Next to Netflix, you will see an Edit option. Select it, click Off for Automatic Renewal, and click Done to confirm it.
