It's finally the end for Stan Lee. Well, at least in terms of his appearances in conventions in Canada. The comic book legend is very much in good health but it has been announced that September's Fan Expo Canada will be his last appearance in Canada.

Talking to the Toronto Sun, Lee said he wants his trip for the event to be dramatic and not just one of his usual visits.

"If it's my last one, it means something," he said.

While it has been assured that Lee is not experiencing any health problems that may be forcing him to cut back on convention appearances, he did say he doesn't know how much longer he'll be able to keep at it. He is 93-years-old, after all.

Does this mean that we'll start seeing less of Lee now? Not necessarily. He may acknowledge that things aren't the same as they used to, prompting rest from big events like Fan Expo Canada, but he's definitely not the sit-at-home type.

Just recently, he had a cameo in "Deadpool," which he said is his favorite to date. In terms of non-Marvel cameos, Lee singled out his appearance in "The Big Bang Theory" as another favorite.

Lee is a real celebrity and he said it was back in the 60s when he realized that he had the status, when a guy came up to him for the first time and said he had read all of his works. He started out in a company that would later on be known as Marvel Comics, working alongside other greats like Joe Simon and Jack Kirby as a teenager. Simon and Kirby were working on Captain America and they had Lee write some.

For Marvel, Lee worked on Spider-Man, Captain America, Iron Man, The Avengers, Daredevil, The Fantastic Four, The Incredible Hulk, Silver Surfer, Doctor Strange, Ant-Man, Thor and The X-Men.

Fan Expo Canada will run from Sept. 1 to 4 at the Metro Toronto Convention Center.
