The Samsung Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 edge, launched on Sunday, are two of the most-wanted handsets of 2016. U.S. carrier Sprint's Galaxy Forever program may entice many smartphone enthusiasts who want to buy the new mobile phones.

In the United States, the Galaxy S7 will be available via major carriers such as AT&T, Verizon, Sprint and T-Mobile. Carriers will try to attract more Galaxy S7 customers and Sprint has announced it will start taking preorders from Tuesday.

Sprint's new Galaxy Forever program will appeal to those who cannot buy one of the new Samsung smartphones by paying the full amount of the handset upfront. Customers in this program will be able to upgrade to Samsung's next flagship after 12 monthly lease payments.

Customers who want to have a Galaxy S7 will have to pay $25.99 equal instalments to be paid in the next 24 months. For the Galaxy S7 edge, it's $30.50 monthly for 24 months. No downpayment is required.

For a limited time, Sprint is also offering 50 percent off on the second smartphone if customers purchase a Galaxy S7 or the Galaxy S7 edge.

Forever Galaxy customers will be able to get their first Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 edge for the full monthly cost but will have to pay $12.99 or $15.25 in the next 24 months for the second Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 edge they purchase.

The Sprint offer is very attractive for those who want to purchase two of Samsung's new devices.

"With Galaxy Forever, our customers can easily swap out their new GS7 or GS7 edge for the next generation after just 12 payments of less than $26 per month - that is less than a dollar a day. There has never been a better time to get your hands on the hottest Samsung Galaxy smartphones from Sprint," says Marcelo Claure, CEO of Sprint.

Both the handsets have 32 GB of internal storage. Customers will have the option to purchase the Galaxy S7 in Gold Platinum or Black Onyx. The Galaxy S7 edge will be available in Silver Titanium, Gold Platinum and Black Onyx hues.

Customers interested in the new Samsung mobile phones from Sprint should note that they will be responsible for repairs and insurance of the device they purchase. Customers who cancel early will have to pay the remaining lease and return the handset to Sprint or take the purchase option.
