A recall of Chocolate Orange Sticks and Chocolate Raspberry Sticks has been issued by Trader Joe's after reports of undeclared milk traces.

The recall comes after branch employees noticed that the chocolate coating of the product appeared lighter in color than pure chocolate, which suggested that traces of milk may be present.

Consumers who have sensitivity to milk and milk products may have allergic reaction. The company said that two individuals who consumed the following products were reported to have allergic reactions.

In a press release, the company listed the affected products with unlisted traces of milk include Trader Joe's "Chocolate Raspberry Sticks" (SKU 084712) and Trader Joe's "Chocolate Orange Sticks" (SKU 084716).

The company took precautionary measures and removed the aforementioned products from its stores. The company is calling the attention of those who were able to purchase the product to return them to any Trader Joe's and a full refund will be issued.

Those who want to know more about the said recall may coordinate with Trader Joe's Customer Relations at (626) 599-3817.

The said product recall is the latest in the string of recalls by the Monrovia-based company.

In August of last year, Trader Joe's Dark Chocolate covered Honey Grahams with Sea Salt was also recalled after undeclared milk was also found in the product.

Early this year, Trader Joe's has issued a recall of its "Raw Cashew Pieces" because of Salmonella risks after the American Heritage International Inc. released a statement that an FDA report found that one lot of the said cashew pieces has salmonella contamination. The agency also revealed that no other cashew lots were contaminated.

Trader Joe's was founded in 1958 and has 457 stores, to date. The company is presently the market leader in fresh food and organic food groceries in the United States.
