If you have a Samsung Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 edge and you are on T-Mobile, we have news for you that will put a smile on your face: T-Mobile has pushed out a new, big software update, bringing in beefed up voice services, Samsung Pay update and more.

As compared with the earlier, smaller security updates, consumers can expect more significant updates with this one.

Starting Monday, T-Mobile pushes out the over the air update to its Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 edge users.

With the update onboard, the software baseband version number now sits at UVU2APC8.

Specifically, the newest update bestows these enhancements, based on T-Mobile's support site and the full changelogs provided by Droid-life in its report.

It's worth mentioning that the Android version of these handsets has not been changed. Both phones still run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.

The update weighs in differently on the two phones. The S7 edge update weighs in at 146.91 MB while the update for the S7 is heftier, weighing in at 215.56 MB.

If you own the Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 edge, you have to ensure you have met the following requirements to update to the current software version. Firstly, you should have 50 percent or more battery life. Secondly, you have to have data connection. Lastly, you must have enough file size for the update.

Now, if you wish to check out if the update has already arrived on your Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 edge, follow these steps:

1. When you’re at the Home screen, hit the Apps logo.
2. Tap the Settings.
3. Look for the About device.
4. Now, check the baseband version. Again, the baseband software version should be UVU2APC8.
