Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose are regarded as three of the best individual WWE Superstars that the company has.

Reigns just won the World Heavyweight title at WrestleMania 32 before 100,000-plus fans on Sunday night, while Ambrose did everything he could to push Brock Lesnar to the limits in a no holds barred street fight and Rollins, an ex-World Heavyweight champ, continues to rehab and work his way back from a knee injury.

But before they became individual WWE forces, they were a collective unit known as The Shield, which believe it or not, only lost eight times in six-man-tag-team matches. As part of the company's weekly 5 Things installment Wednesday, WWE ran off five of those defeats.

Would you be surprised to learn that the faction's first defeat came at the hands of Team Hell No — consisting of Daniel Bryan and Kane — and Randy Orton in June 2013, when Bryan made Rollins tap out with the Yes! Lock on an episode of SmackDown?

If that didn't surprise you, their next defeat highlighted will. That's because it came two weeks later on the same show, but this time to the mashed-up team of The Usos and Christian. How weird is that? Christian got the pinfall on "The Lunatic Fringe" to end that bout.

As the feature continues, it shows how The Shield was broken down by The Big Show, Mark Henry and Rob Van Dam just two months later in August 2013 on SmackDown. Although this particular defeat more than slipped our memory, Show and Henry will be happy to jog it for you, with the company highlighting how they manhandled Reigns, Ambrose and Rollins.

This 5 Things installment also shows how Triple H and Stephanie McMahon's decision to put the Rhodes brothers (Dustin and Cody) on a team with Bryan up against The Shield completely backfired, as the makeshift squad more than proved itself in the October 2013 victory.

The Wyatt Family also asserted dominance over The Shield, sporting a 3-1 record over Rollins, Ambrose and Reigns. Anytime those groups scrapped, it was memorable. But we're not as surprised to learn about the Wyatts' dominance over The Shield as we are with some of the others.
