Lenovo is debuting a range of new devices at IFA 2014 in Berlin, including a ThinkPad Helix ultrabook for business as well as Vibe Z2 and X2 smartphones.

The ThinkPad Helix is the company's flagship device for business this year, and not only is it powerful but it is much slimmer and lighter than Lenovo's older notebooks.

Coming in at 2.98 pounds and less than half an inch thick, the ThinkPad Helix is as much as 15 percent lighter and slimmer than its predecessor.

Another great feature is the fact the display can snap out of the keyboard and act as a tablet. It can be snapped back in at any angle the user prefers. The display is made of the latest Gorilla Glass, making it both strong and good looking.

One thing that Lenovo is pushing when it comes to the ThinkPad Helix is the fact that it has no moving parts. This puts it in competition with devices like Apple's MacBook Air.

Under the hood the ThinkPad Helix features an Intel Core M processor, which should help improve the battery life of the device, as well as Windows 8.1. The device will cost $999 and will be available in October.

Lenovo also launched a number of smartphones at IFA, which largely stole the show for the company.

The Vibe X2 features a MediaTek MT6595 4G LTE True8Core processor, which will make the device quite powerful. It also features the latest version of Android, Android 4.4 KitKat, and makes use of a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera. The device will come with 32 GB of internal storage.

Lenovo also launched the Vibe Z2. This device is a little more consumer focused and includes a 5.5-inch display, which Lenovo is claiming is one of the brightest displays on the market.

One of the biggest features of the Vibe Z2 is the fact that it is the company's first 64-bit device, enabling it to run more apps and more powerful versions of Android that will be released in the future.

The Vibe Z2 also comes with a 1.2-GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and 32 GB of internal storage.

Both devices will go on sale in China in October and will then roll out to other markets in which Lenovo sells its devices. The Vibe X2 will cost $399 and the Vibe Z2 will come in at $429. There is no word yet on whether the devices will be released in the U.S.
