Huawei is subject to leaks again, and this time it is the MediaPad T2 10.0 Pro tablet that we get to have a full look at.

The first leak about the MediaPad T2 10.0 Pro happened this year in February, prior to Huawei's MWC event. However, the company kept mum about the upcoming slate during the event.

Huawei does all it can to be mysterious about the tablet, but the recent leaks hint that an announcement could be in tow. A good reason for this is that the leaks are joined by a press render treat, meaning that a few official-looking shots of the device offer a pretty good idea on how it will look like.

With the renders, the tablet's specs were also unveiled, and most information confirms the earlier rumors from February.

Huawei's fans should know that the MediaPad T2 10.0 Pro promises to resemble the MediaPad M2, but it will be a tad less impressive.

The latest tablet from Huawei packs a 10.1-inch IPS touchscreen capable of displaying resolutions of 1,920x1,200 pixels. Processing power will come from a Qualcomm's Snapdragon 615 SoC that uses eight Cortex-A53 chips clocked at 1.5 GHz. Backing the CPU in its tasks will be 2 or 3 GB of RAM and the customers will be able to choose a default storage space of 16 or 32 GB. Note that a microSD slot will enable tablet owners to boost the storage capacity.

Looking at the camera combo, MediaPad T2 10.0 Pro holsters an 8-megapixel rear camera equipped with LED flash and a 2-megapixel selfie snapper. A sizeable 6,660 mAh battery should keep the device running for a long time between charges. Where the tablet disappoints a bit is in its embedded software: Huawei's gadget apparently runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

The good news is that both Wi-Fi-only models as well as LTE variants will be open for purchase.

The European starting price for the Wi-Fi MediaPad T2 10.0 Pro will be about €280 ($320). The LTE version will begin at €350 ($399).

Huawei's tablet will come in two color options: black and white, and will weigh 17.46 ounces. In terms of device legacy, the MediaPad T2 is succeeding the T1 from 2015.

At the MWC 2016, Huawei did release the more expensive, yet more powerful MateBook tablet, a stylish 2-in-1 that runs on Windows 10.
