Nubia, a brand of ZTE, announced on April 19 that it has launched the Nubia Z11 Mini in Beijing, a phone designed to quell consumers' desire for a powerful camera at a budget-friendly price. The smartphone starts at a preorder price of $281.99 on the Nubia Mobile website, and it features a 5-inch screen with an 8-megapixel front camera.

The main camera is 16 megapixels, and it uses the Sony IMX298 sensor. Its f/2.0 lens ensures quality in every photo captured, and phase-detection autofocus reduces the potential for blur.

The phone runs on an Android 5.1 operating system, and it supports 5G Wi-Fi. For those who are concerned about security, it has a fingerprint sensor for personal recognition. Its Snapdragon 617 MSM8952 processor packs power into the tiny device, which weighs about one-third of a pound.

The Nubia Z11 Mini's camera also has NeoVision 5.8, a professional photography system designed to make photo management that easier for users. A new kernel also boasts faster camera startup and focus speed.

The standard resolution of the Nubia Z11 Mini is 1920x1080 pixels on its FHD screen. It also has 64GB of ROM capacity for all types of media. Individuals have the option of inserting an external memory card up to 200GB for additional space. This has been a popular feature of many Android phones in the past, such as the Samsung Galaxy.

It's hard to argue with the price of the Nubia Z11 Mini. At less than $300, it's one of the more affordable phones on the market. The phone will begin selling throughout China later this month before expanding elsewhere.

Nubia Mobile has also been promoting a new phone alongside the Nubia Z11 Mini - the Nubia X8. This phone, which has a 6-inch display, is geared toward providing a better video-viewing experience. It has a 1080p resolution screen with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of ROM. The Nubia X8 also has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera and a 16-megapixel rear camera, similar to the Nubia Z11 Mini.

Experts speculate that the Nubia X8 and Nubia X8 Mini will hit the market shortly, and they will likely debut in Asia.
