John Cena is World Wrestling Entertainment's Wolverine, able to accelerate his healing faster than the average WWE superstar.

Back on April 1 during a Q&A interview with Complex, Cena confirmed that he has been medically cleared to return to action, shedding light on his amazing recovery powers in the process.

"People say I have a Wolverine-like style of recovery," Cena said, adding that he logged nearly 400 hours of physical therapy via 111 visits in 12 weeks of time. "I was given a nine-month quota to come back and after three months I can tell you that I am ready to do anything asked of me possible. It's a matter of when they call me."

Well, apparently, they called, because the ring veteran took to his Twitter account Monday afternoon to announce that he'll be back in just over a month.

So, circle your calendars for a Memorial Day return for John Cena. The bad news about that date is Cena will miss Payback this Sunday night in addition to WWE Extreme Rules on May 22 on the WWE Network.

The good news is, as your Memorial Day BBQ is winding down, you can plop down on the couch, flip on Monday Night Raw and witness Cena's return. The capacity of Cena's return and with whom he will be engaged in a feud remains to be seen, but of course, his mere presence is good for the company.

The WWE Universe hasn't seen the 15-time champion compete since January, when he injured his shoulder, aside from running in and helping the Rock at WrestleMania 32 on April 3.

Is he going to take aim at Roman Reigns' WWE World Heavyweight title as soon as he returns, or will the strap be around the waist of AJ Styles by that time? All these questions and more will be answered in just over a month.

Also, will we get the turn from babyface to heel that we've been anticipating? We could find that out then, too.
