The upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice film is well underway where filming is concerned, but that did not stop director, Zack Snyder, from taking some time out of his busy schedule to give the fans a clean look of the new Batmobile.

Snyder took to Twitter and dropped the bomb and right away the Internet went crazy. We've seen glimpses of the Batmobile before, but this is the first time the iconic car was shown off in such detail. Chances are; Zack Snyder was not yet ready to share this image, but leaked photos on Instagram of the vehicle onset might have forced his hands.

This first clear shot of the Batmobile has allowed us to come up with a lot of assumptions as to where the design idea came from. Clearly the design appears to come from the Tumbler in the Christopher Nolan films. However, we must add that it also seems to have taken cues from the Batman videos games, especially the new and final title, Batman: Arkham Knight.

It is either the developers took design cues from Zack Snyder and his team, or the other way around, because for both Batmobiles to look so similar could not be a coincidence at all. We are now wondering if the Batmobile in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will operate similarly to the one from the video game; that would be a great addition.

We also can't help but realize that there's a turret at the front of the Batmobile. Strangely enough, some so-called have been complaining that Batman is now using guns, but from our memory, all Batmobiles in history had some form of weapon attached to them.

These weapons are not designed to hurt humans, but to remove debris or make an entrance in order for Batman to get where he wants to be. These same weapons are also used to immobilize enemy vehicles or enemy threats with strong armor.

We must say that we were quite surprised to see people complaining about this. Just goes to show how much some folks know about the Batman and the universe he's situated in.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, the Zack Snyder-directed film, will hit theaters on March 25, 2016.
