To help celebrate 30 years of "Ghostbusters," Sony Pictures and Krispy Kreme are coming together to deliver two new doughnuts of supernatural proportions.

The special sweets will only be available for a limited time and will come in two varieties, according to the official press release. As you might have guessed, they are both marshmallow flavored. The first is the "Ghostbusters" doughtnut, a marshmallow kreme-filled shell topped with white icing, a decorative green "splat" inspired by Slimer and a "Ghostbusters" logo sugar piece.

Also available will be a "Stay Puft Marshmallow" doughnut. Like the "Ghostbusters" doughnut, this one too will be a marshmellow kreme-filled shell with white icing, but this time decorated with the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man's iconic (and terrifying) face, along with a sugar piece hat.

Finally, after 30 years of waiting we can all know what the Stay Puft Marshmallow man would have tasted like after being blown to bits by the Ghostbusters and their trusty proton packs. The dougnuts will only be available for one month starting on Sept. 29 and ending on Oct. 31.

The partnership is to help celebrate 30 years of ghostbusting and the recently released "Ghostbusters 30th Anniversary Edition Blu-Ray," which is also available in a limited edition double pack that includes "Ghostbusters I" and "II" along with a collectible Slimer figurine.

All this "Ghostbusters" goodness comes as rumors have once again picked up about the long-awaited "Ghostbusters III." "Ghostbuster" writer and star Harold Ramis died earlier this year, causing a script for the film to be rewritten. "Bridesmaids" director Paul Feig is said to be in negotiations with Columbia Pictures to direct the third installment, with rumors saying that the next-generation of Ghostbusters may be all-female.

Bill Murray, who played Dr. Peter Venkman in the two previous "Ghostbusters" films, says he is on board with the idea.

"I'm fine with it," Murray says. "I would go to that movie, and they'd probably have better outfits, too."

Murray suggested actresses like Melissa McCarthy, Emma Stone and Linda Cardellini to star in the film. Ivan Reitman, who directed and produced the first two "Ghostbusters" installments, told the HuffPost that he is fairly certain Feig will get the job. The film is rumored to go into production sometime in 2015, but given how many false starts the third installment in the "Ghostbusters" franchise has had over the years, that remains to be seen. Regardless, there will be plenty of delicious Stay Puft Marshmallow doughnuts to hold us over until "Ghostbusters III" finally does arrive.
