U.S. retailer Best Buy has reduced the price of some 9.7-inch iPad Pro models by $100.

The 9.7-inch iPad Pro is available with 32 GB, 128 GB and 256 GB internal storage options. Customers can opt for Wi-Fi only or Wi-Fi plus cellular models.

The 32 GB, 128 GB and 256 GB Wi-Fi only models cost $599, $749 and $899, and the Wi-Fi plus cellular model is priced at $729, $879 and $1,029, respectively. However, Best Buy customers can get the 128 GB and 256 GB models with a discount of $100. The price of the base model remains unchanged at the retailer.

The discounted 9.7-inch iPad Pro is available in four hues: space gray, silver, gold and rose gold. Best Buy is offering all four colors of the tablet as part of the deal for the 128 GB and 256 GB (Wi-Fi only models). The retailer is not selling the rose gold color for the 256 GB Wi-Fi plus cellular model.

Customers do not have to pay for delivery, as Best Buy is offering free shipping for purchases over $35. Store pick-up is also available at select stores.

9.7-inch iPad Pro customers who plan to use Microsoft Office on their tablet can also get $20 discount on the purchase of any edition of Microsoft Office.

"Save $20 on any edition of Microsoft Office when you also order a PC or Mac computer, an iPad, a tablet regularly priced $150 or more, or a cell phone with plan," says Best Buy.

The 9.7-inch iPad Pro is thin and light, but it offers fast performance to users.

"The new iPad Pro is just 6.1mm thin and weighs less than 500g, yet delivers groundbreaking performance, connectivity and versatility so you can tackle the most demanding tasks wherever you go. The powerful A9X chip with third-generation 64-bit architecture provides performance that rivals many laptops and console-class graphics, while also delivering all-day battery life," says Apple.

The 9.7-inch iPad Pro is packed with top-end features that appeal to many tablet enthusiasts. The new iPad Pro has four speakers: two on the top and two at the bottom, which offer great sound.

The 9.7-inch iPad Pro is also the first tablet to include Live Photos, which was first introduced in the iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s Plus in September 2015.

After the $100 discount from Best Buy, the price difference between the 32 GB and 128 GB is reduced to $50. The reduced price may tempt more customers to buy the 128 GB model instead of the 32 GB version of the 9.7-inch iPad Pro.
