The epic duel between Eddard Stark and Ser Arthur Dayne served as one of the best swordfights we've seen yet on Game of Thrones.

What began as a six-on-two battle quickly became a fight of life or death between two seasoned warriors. Swords clashed, blood was spilled and at the end of it all, Ned Stark emerged victorious ... with a little help from his friend Howland Reed, of course.

It made for some truly riveting television, but one fan has found a way to make the storm of swords at the Tower of Joy even more exciting: by adding lightsabers.

What was once a sword fight has now become an epic Star Wars lightsaber duel thanks to the efforts of EricThePooh on YouTube. Of course, EricThePooh didn't simply stop at adding lightsabers. After all, no lightsaber duel is complete without the iconic music of John Williams. In this case it's "Battle of Heroes" from the Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith soundtrack, from when Obi-wan Kenobi faces off against his former pupil and friend Anakin Skywalker on the fiery planet of Mustafar.

The track fits perfectly in place in the Tower of Joy scene. Just as Anakin and Obi-wan were heroes turned enemies, Ned Stark and Ser Arthur Dayne are both good men. Dayne is regarded as one of the most chivalrous knights in all of the Seven Kingdoms, while Lord Stark has a reputation for being among the most honorable. Both men don't wish to spill more blood than is necessary, but both know there is no other way the story can end.

In that way the battle between Ned Stark and Arthur Dayne at the Tower of Joy truly is a battle of heroes, making the music selection fitting in more ways than one. Game of Thrones has become known for depicting massive battles involving thousands of soldiers and creatures, but this small duel still served as one of the most pivotal, and exhilarating, action scenes yet. Lightsabers just make it that much better. You can check out the Star Wars version of the scene below.
