Last time we saw of Carrie-Anne Moss as Jeri Hogarth was in season one of Jessica Jones. According to Netflix and Marvel, the actress will be reprising her role for Iron Fist.

Jeri Hogarth is the gender-bent version of Jeryn Hogarth, a lawyer character that has been around since Danny Rand/Iron Fist first appeared in 1976. However, Jeri is more morally ambiguous than Jeryn, making her appear not as altruistic as the character from the comic book. But given that Hogarth has been with Rand since the beginning, it makes sense to bring Jeri into the new Netflix series.

If she does appear in Luke Cage as well, Jeri Hogarth will be one of a handful of characters to be part of all four of Marvel's original programs in Netflix.

Toward the end of season 1 of Jessica Jones, Hogarth was on the brink of being forced out of her firm. When season 2 of Daredevil rolled around, she appeared to be back in control after hiring Foggy Nelson, whom she told she's getting ready to tackle cases involving "vigilantes." Hogarth also tried to replicate Kilgrave's powers using his unborn child, suggesting that she is interested in enhanced human abilities.

Aside from the announcement that Moss is joining Iron Fist as Hogarth, there is no news on how her character will be presented in the Netflix series.

In April, photos of Finn Jones in costume as Rand surfaced, giving us a first look at the character. Presumably, the photos were from the scene where Rand returns to New York after years of living in K'un-Lun.

Aside from getting fitted as a civilian Danny Rand, Jones has been training in martial arts and Buddhist philosophies for his time as Iron Fist.

Jones will be joined by fellow Game of Thrones star Jessica Henwick as Iron Fist's female lead, Colleen Wing. David Wenham, Jessica Stroup and Tom Pelphrey are also onboard as Harold, Joy and Ward Meachum, respectively.

There is no release date yet for Iron Fist but it's likely to come out in 2017, coming after Luke Cage, which is set to premiere on Sept. 30.
