The developer behind last year's PlayStation 4 exclusive The Order: 1886, Ready at Dawn, will announce its new title next week.

The company hasn't released any details about what fans can expect from the new title, but the announcement will come just a week before E3, so it's likely that gamers might get a sneak peek or even see some gameplay footage of the new title at the conference.

That game, though, will get published by GameTrust, GameStop's new publishing division. The confirmation of the announcement came from GameStop COO Tony Bartel during a recent earnings call.

"Next week, we will be announcing our second game under development, with Ready at Dawn," Bartel said.

GameTrust will earn new sources of revenue for GameStop, not just from physical sales of games, but also from digital sales, too. The company also plans on releasing merchandise - such as toys and other collectibles - based on its titles.

The new Ready at Dawn title is the second game published by GameTrust. The first was Song of the Deep by Insomniac Games, an action-adventure for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 about a young girl who traverses the ocean to find her missing father. GameTrust has also signed on to work with two other studios: Frozenbyte and Tequila Works.

The Order: 1886 was released in 2015 and was generally praised for its beautiful graphics and steampunk-like setting, but ultimately criticized for its short length and questionable gameplay, which often took control away from the player by the overuse of cut-scenes.

A unique storyline, though, took players into an alternate-history London and followed the adventures of the Knights of the Round Table as they struggled to keep the world safe from supernatural threats, such as werewolves and vampires.

In spite of criticism, The Order: 1886 was the best-selling game a week after its release in both the UK and Ireland, meaning that it was the first in-house Sony title to hit the UK No. 1 spot since 2014.

The Order: 1886 was a PlayStation 4 exclusive, but it's likely that the next title could become available on all platforms.
