T-Mobile is preparing for its Un-carrier 11 event on June 6 and some juicy details have surfaced ahead, offering more details on the carrier's stock scheme.

It's no big news that T-Mobile and its leader, John Legere, like to take different approaches to keep customers happy, attract more subscribers and, once in a while, take jabs at rival carriers (especially AT&T).

T-Mobile is apparently planning to keep pulling unconventional schemes and this time, customers might stand even more to benefit. As VentureBeat reports, T-Mobile wants to reward its customers by offering them stock in the company.

Reportedly called Stock Up, this initiative will basically be a giveaway of company shares, giving T-Mobile subscribers the chance to actually own a piece of the company.

T-Mobile stock should become available in two ways: an initial offer, without any qualification requirements, and a referral fee for convincing others to join T-Mobile.

Postpaid customers can get one share of stock by downloading the upcoming T-Mobile Tuesdays app by June 21 and signing up for Loyal3. New subscribers will have three weeks to claim their treat at Loyal3.

After that initial single share when signing up, customers will be able to earn 99 additional shares per year by referring T-Mobile to others - one share for each successful referral. A fraud prevention measure, however, requires that the people you refer keep their accounts active for more than 15 days, thus going past the return window for a new line.

Long-term customers, meanwhile, will get sweeter rewards. Those who have been with T-Mobile for at least five years will get two shares for each customer referred.

T-Mobile will further sweeten the deal with other treats besides free stock. Subscribers with the T-Mobile Tuesdays app installed, for instance, will reportedly get extra perks from Domino's pizza, Wendy's, VUDU, and the chance to win various prizes such as trips or gift cards.

As a reminder, T-Mobile will live stream its Un-carrier 11 event on Monday, June 6, at 1:00 p.m. ET/ 10 a.m. PT. It remains to be seen whether these details turn out to be accurate, but we'll find out straight from the source soon enough. We'll keep you up to date as soon as we get the official scoop, so stay tuned. In the meantime, you can watch John Legere prepare for Un-carrier 11 in the weird video below.
