If you are among the consumers who wish to grab Motorola's newest phone, the Moto Z Droid Edition, here is good news: the phone will come with two years of unlimited, quality Google Photos storage.

Motorola revealed the news through the webpage dedicated for the device.

"Your Moto Z Droid Edition comes with up to two years of free storage at original quality in Google Photos, the smarter way to store photos and videos," says Motorola. "They're automatically backed up, organized and searchable, so you can find and share photos faster than ever."

This is definitely great news for those who love to take photos using their phone camera.

With an unlimited storage space for two years, users of the phone will be able to create their own photo booth spanning 24 months with the confidence that none of their images will be erased, lost or compromised. Even better, they can upload these pictures in original quality instead of the "high quality" option Google has.

The high quality option usually limits the quality of images so if users take pictures with a professional camera and upload them, these will get downsized. The original quality feature, however, lets you save exactly what you got — good news for those who take their pictures seriously.

The promotional storage space is still limited, however, as users will have to think about an alternative for when the two-year free storage offering is up. Whether they'll be allowed to purchase the same space for continued use is a possibility. This report fairly comes hot on the heels of a recent buzz about Google offering the same perk for its Nexus devices but with lifetime storage.

Specs

The Moto Z Droid Edition is crammed with the best modern technology has to offer to a certain extent. For example, it starts off with a 5.5-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1,440 x 2,560. That's definitely one of the best available today, giving consumers the kind of resolution for hours of watching YouTube videos through their device. The screen may not be shatterproof but with Gorilla Glass as a protection, it might as well be.

The handset is powered by a Snapdragon 820 chipset and it comes fitted with 4 GB worth of RAM. Those who choose to get this particular model will find themselves playing tons of games and running simultaneous apps without worrying about lags or the chipset overheating and slowing down. With this processor under the phone's hood, owners of the Moto Z Droid Edition can go all out with memory storage and still have a smooth experience when running heavy programs.

The specs of the phone are not something you can easily shrug off. While not exactly comparable to the flagship Moto Z Force Droid Edition, the Moto Z Droid Edition is still something worth getting, especially since it comes with unlimited Google Photos storage for two years.
