Everyone knows that the Incredible Hulk is an absolute powerhouse. He's almost invulnerable; he's one of the strongest beings in the entire Marvel Universe and it's been proven time and time again that the Hulk is basically unstoppable.

That being said, the Hulk has indeed been stopped before; the monster's not totally indestructible. If only the Hulk was made out of solid metal, that'd just about make him the most powerful being in Marvel's entire lineup. Now, thanks to a group of Thai artists, the Marvel Universe's worst nightmare just came true.

The amazing metal monstrosity comes courtesy of the BanHunLek metalsmithing shop in Thailand. While the shop didn't list the exact specifications of the statue, it's clearly full-sized and probably weighs several hundred pounds. While scrap metal sculpture has been done before, the projects are rarely on this same size or scale, much less as detailed as the Hulk statue. What's even more impressive is that this sculpture is the second Hulk statue the shop has made, and noticeable improvements can be seen after just a few months since the first statue was built (the bronze Hulk was made in September, the green Hulk in March).

The Hulk isn't the only statue that BanHunLek has made; the shop has an absolutely massive library of sculptures. Davy Jones from Pirates of the Caribbean, several different Transformers robots, the AT-ST walker from Star Wars, and even Hulk's fellow Marvel Universe resident Iron Man have all been built from the ground up using recycled metal. The shop's catalog is absolutely massive, and the simple fact that the metal is recycled makes it all the more impressive.

More of BanHunLek's works can be found on its official Facebook page and website, but know this: the shop is located in Thailand, and as such, both sites are in Thai. Site translation software will clear some of the language up, but the sites can still be a bit hard to make out.

It's amazing what one can do with a little recycled metal, a giant blowtorch and imagination.
