For 19 seasons, four boys from one small town — with the help of 1,714 other characters — have entertained audiences in 130 countries. Now, the boys of South Park are about to make their anticipated return when season 20 returns on Comedy Central this month.

To celebrate the upcoming launch of the show's 20th season, South Park Studios released a new video that reminds us just how much we've laughed thanks to this series throughout the years.

Titled "By The Numbers," the new promo video teases season 20 without giving any details about what's to come. Instead, fans are taken on a trip down memory lane to be reminded of just how much the show has amused us — and shockingly, just how much it has been able to get away with.

This includes picking on 283 celebrities, like Michael Jackson, Tom Brady, Morgan Freeman, Kanye West and lots more. With this being a presidential election, we expect to see the return of Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump (although Trump will probably be depicted through Mr. Garrison). There are also lots of other pop culture references to pull from, like the death of the gorilla Harambe that angered the nation and the rise of Pokémon GO.

The video reminds us that there have been 200 flights, 102 Kenny deaths, 49 Cartman dumps, 18 Randy arrests, nine religions and one gay fish throughout the 267 episodes.

In a way, the promo serves as a time capsule that shows how much South Park has changed and in which ways it has stayed the same, especially for viewers who have been following Cartman, Kyle, Stan and Kenny since 1998.

One of the major changes fans saw last season was how story arcs continued throughout multiple episodes and didn't just reach a conclusion at the end of an episode. There is a good possibility that the creators will continue to use this in their writing, especially since many people binge-watch a few episodes in one sitting.

Now that South Park is about to reach a major milestone with its 20th season, we expect the show's creators are only just getting started.

Check out the South Park "By The Numbers" promo for season 20 below, but we warn you that there is explicit language, as well as violent and graphic content.

South Park season 20 premieres on Wednesday, Sept. 14 at 10 p.m. on Comedy Central. Season 20 will be made up of 10 all-new episodes that air weekly, as well as on the Comedy Central app and website, and episodes will be available to stream on Hulu and in Google Play and the App Store.
