Loot caves and gear farming have been the talk of the town ever since Destiny players managed to exploit the game to get the cave spawning bosses to drop massive amounts of rare and legendary gear. With the recent release of Borderlands the Pre-Sequel, players have been clamoring to find out if a similar glitch could be used in the new game.

The pre-sequel takes place in between the events of Borderlands and Borderlands 2. Players, working as one of four agents for Handsome Jack before his rise to power, experience the action in low-gravity gunfights, and search for the best loot and gear on Pandora's moon.

The third installment of the Borderlands franchise continues the satirical humor in the post-apocalyptic world of Pandora that its predecessors became known for, and the co-op gameplay is still the best way to experience the game.

Videos describing the game exploits below may contain spoilers. Proceed at your own risk.

According to YouTube gamer JHFLEETING, his "Loot Cave-esque Exploit" takes advantage of an enemy that spawns infinitely during the "Guardian Hunter" mission. Although the goal of the mission is to capture a certain guardian fire wraith, players can also choose to kill it -- again and again as he re-spawns, cycling through weapon types, allowing players to simply stand and unload ammo as they watch gear, weapon, moonrocks and cash drop to their hearts' desire.

Another video on a YouTube channel by deathmule also shows players how to gain unlimited experience, moonstones and loot in the new game by strategically playing the mission "Let's Build A Robot Army." The enemies re-spawn infinitely during the attack so you have to make sure you can kill them before the turrets do, or you can quit the mission before the turrets reach their quota.

Both "loot caves" can potentially enable your character to jump up through levels in a short amount of time, and according to Kotaku writer, Nathan Grayson, they remain available through multiple difficulty levels and plays.

Only time will tell if these exploits will remain viable or if 2K will update the First-Person Shooter ARPG with a patch that will end the limitless amount of loot and XP for players to take advantage of.
