The hunters and the hunted play cat and mouse once again on last Sunday's episode of The Walking Dead.    Fans of the comic books were pleased to see how some of the best iconic moments on paper translated so well to their on-screen counterparts.

On with the recap, and those who have not yet watch the episode "Four Walls and a Roof," be warned, spoilers ahead!

Cannibal Gareth and the remaining survivors of Terminus set up the scene with an eerie conversation with Bob that turns absolutely horrifying when you put two and two together and realize that Bob's missing limb and the barbecue his captors are enjoying are --- exactly what you think it is.

Gareth reveals himself to not only be a cannibal, but almost like a Hannibal Lecter human food connoisseur, telling Bob that women taste better than men, and attractive people go down easier as well.

However, Bob has the last laugh when he has a big reveal himself.  As he pulls up his shirt to show them all a gnarly zombie bit he got on his last food run before he was captured.

"Tainted meat!"  he screams at them hysterically and maniacally, causing his captors to reel and gag in horror.

Meanwhile, the others are back at the church where Father Gabriel reveals to an unmoved Rick that he locked up the church when the dead began to rise, and damned his entire congregation as they screamed for him to help them.

But they will need to deal with Father Gabriel's guilt later as Bob is returned to them by the Hunters, along with a dramatic scarlet red "A" painted outside the building.

Sasha, devastated at the Bob's condition and the realization that he was bitten, wants to avenge him immediately.

The group split hairs on how to move forward - stay and fight, or run.  Rick wants to wait for Daryl and Carol to return while Abraham wants to get the heck out of there.  It takes Glenn putting his foot down to convince everyone to stick together for one more night, promising that he and Maggie will go with Abraham's group to Washington when it's all over.

The trap is set and Rick's sharpshooting skills ain't rusty as he expertly shoots Gareth's trigger fingers off.

Although they contemplate letting the Hunters go with a promise to never cross paths again, the group knows all too well that they will only torment others.  Besides, Rick made a promise episodes ago, which he delivered with his red-handled machete, as the others massacre the other Hunters as well.

Finally free from the Hunters, the group recoups.  Michonne is reunited with her katana, as Glenn and Maggie bid their farewells - leaving with Abraham to Washington as they promised.  Sasha and Bob say their sad goodbyes as well, with Bob leaving her mid-conversation to avoid lengthy farewells.

Meanwhile, as Michonne and Father Gabriel share their regrets and past which will continue to haunt them, they are interrupted by Daryl who has returned with a companion...

Who will be revealed next Sunday?  Talk about suspense!
