Do you use PayPal Cash and wish there were a few more locations where you could top-up your PayPal account? If you answered yes then there is some good news headed your way - PayPal has added 7-Eleven to its list of PayPal Cash locations.

So now whenever you need to top-up your PayPal account with cash, simply head over to your nearest 7-Eleven! PayPal Cash will be available for use at 8000 7-Eleven stores in the U.S.

The PayPal app caters to millions of individuals and businesses. Receiving and making payments to almost anywhere in the world is just a tap away, negating the need for any paper transaction.

PayPal Cash essentially lets physical cash to make its way into a user's PayPal account without the user even visiting the bank. The desired amount can be directly dumped into a user's PayPal wallet.

In the U.S., the list of the supported retailers include the likes of CVS and Rite Aid and thanks to the latest update, the 7-Eleven chain of convenience stores gets added to the growing list. PayPal Cash users in the U.S. have the ease of visiting 28,000 retail store locations to top-up their Paypal account, which now includes 7-Eleven.

How It Works?

Though using one's credit card for topping up PayPal Cash is a viable option, in case one has some cash in hand, heading over to the physical location would be a convenient alternative.

It is pretty easy to top-up your account and one can do so by taking their cash to a 7-Eleven store. Use the iOS or Android version of the PayPal app to generate the barcode, which is then given to the cashier for scanning.

After the cashier scans the code, you simply hand over the money to them. Instantly, the money is credited to your PayPal account.

However, one must have a credit or debit card linked to the PayPal account, which is also linked to the user's bank account.

Any Limits?

Yes. Users of PayPal Cash can only deposit up to $500 a day and the amount cannot exceed $4,000 per month. Moreover, users are charged a service fee of $3.95 for each transaction made.

The cash limit has been put in place to counter any money laundering.

Is The Updated PayPal App Available?

The Google Play Store already has the updated PayPal app available for download for Android users. The changelog has been updated to reflect the inclusion of 7-Eleven.

"PayPal Cash is now available at 7-Eleven! Use it to add cash to your PayPal balance at stores across the US. Go to your balance and tap Add Money to get started," notes the changelog.

The iOS app for PayPal is yet to be updated and currently does not reflect the change.
