BioWare finally revealed details about Mass Effect: Andromeda, the newest title in the Mass Effect franchise. The latest Role Playing Game (RPG) will take future Ryders to the Andromeda Galaxy where they have to team up with other explorers to find a new home.

Gamers would be happy to know that it is not only the graphics and characters that are new in the game but the experiences too. For the first time in the Mass Effect franchise, players will be able to craft and name their own weapons.

The RPG's lead designer Ian Frazier revealed this bit of information on Twitter as a pro-tip, telling his followers that they can even name a Krogan-style hammer "Grabthar's Hammer."

If gamers have any doubt about what Frazier shared, the Mass Effect: Andromeda's senior designer Justin Perez also chimed in and said that he crafted an assault and sniper rifle in the game and called them "Fast" and "Furious" respectively.

Frazier also reminded the public that the original Mass Effect trilogy had neither weapons crafting nor melee weapons apart from the omni-blade.

One gamer engaged Frazier to confirm whether there was a dedicated melee weapon slot, and the lead designer confirmed this. He also said that the omni-blade can be upgraded, which is actually pretty neat.

There is really much to be excited about with BioWare's newest RPG, and we can tell the game developer has really invested a lot into the game development process to please gamers and, quite possibly, to make up for that controversial Mass Effect 3 ending.

"Mass Effect: Andromeda is our most ambitious Mass Effect game to date. We're telling completely new stories, creating new characters, new planets, new species, and introducing new gameplay systems [...] we're bringing Mass Effect to the FrostbiteTM game engine, an incredible engine that's delivering a tremendous graphical jump from the trilogy to Mass Effect: Andromeda," BioWare writes.

Mass Effect: Andromeda will be released for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Windows PC on March 21 in the United States, but European gamers will have to wait until March 23 to get their hands on the game and start crafting their personalized weaponry.

Prior to its release, Mass Effect: Andromeda will have a multiplayer beta test but, since the testing date has yet to be confirmed, we just hope you followed our instructions on how to sign up for it.
