As Samsung gears up to unveil its Galaxy S8 in a few months from now, the price of the older-gen Galaxy S7 Duos, the dual-SIM variant, has dropped.

The unlocked variant of the smartphone was initially available for $649.99 and has now gone on sale on eBay.

Thanks to the eBay deal, consumers can now snag the Galaxy S7 Duos for a reduced price of $439.99.

The Galaxy S7 Duos Offer

The Galaxy S7 Duos smartphone listed by eBay seller mobilepros1 is the unlocked variant of the handset. This is the 32 GB storage option of the Samsung smartphone and will ship from Miami, Florida.

The 4G LTE compatible smartphone can be picked up for the $439.99 price tag in three color options - gold, black and silver.

The eBay deal is likely a limited period offer and should not be missed if you are eyeing a good bargain on a robust handset. Thanks to the offer, consumers will be able to save a whopping $210 on the Galaxy S7 Duos.

For those who are wary of online purchases and the quality of the smartphone, the seller is offering a 30-day return offer. Therefore, if you find any issues with the handset or any damage on arrival, you will have the option of returning it within this window.

The factory unlocked variant of the Galaxy S7 Duos has already sold 637 units at the time of writing and the seller mentions that they have only "limited quantity available." Therefore, it is advisable that if you are keen on purchasing the smartphone you hurry up.

The Samsung smartphone being retailed on eBay is GSM compatible, which means it will work with AT&T and T-Mobile. If you are with Verizon Wireless or Sprint then it is best to avoid this purchase.

While the Samsung Galaxy S8 will not be launched at the MWC this month as confirmed by a company executive, it is expected to be unveiled in March. Therefore, it is likely that retailers are getting rid of the Galaxy S7 lineup's inventory swiftly as the demand for the older-gen variants will wane when the successor launches.

This is not the first time that one has come across reductions in price for the Galaxy S7 smartphone line. As reported by Tech Times earlier, Amazon had a one-day deal where the Galaxy S7 edge was offered at a reduced price of $586.

Those who do not mind buying the company's older-gen handsets and want to avail the eBay offer, can purchase the Galaxy S7 Duos for $439.99 before the offer expires.
