Leaks pertaining to the Samsung Galaxy S8 have been doing the rounds for quite a long time, making the customers who are eagerly waiting for its official launch feel impatient.

With zillions of rumors, speculations, video leaks and teasers galore, the Galaxy S8 is in the news again and this time an official press render of the smartphone has been leaked online.

The supposed press render of the Galaxy S8 has been shared by the famous leakster Evan Blass as the Samsung smartphone gears up for a March 29 debut.

The latest leak seems to affirm that several of the early rumored features of the smartphone may see the light of day.

The Leaked Render

According to the leaked image shared by Blass on Twitter, the device is seen featuring a set of sensors right above the screen, which may include options like a front-facing camera, as well as the much-rumored iris scanner.

If one looks closely at the image, one would also agree with the early speculated specs regarding the 5.8- inch Quad HD super AMOLED display and curved bezels.

The three buttons at the side of the device may be for volume, power/lock and a shortcut key for Bixby, the all new AI assistant which Samsung is reportedly packing in the device.

The leaked image also reveals a date and the screen reflects March 29, which incidentally matches with the launch date of the smartphone. Rumors about the home button being removed from the Galaxy S8 flagship are also looking to be true as one cannot spot the same in the image. The image also shows a green colored "call" icon on the left hand side and a camera icon on the right.

Based on the leaked image, the Galaxy S8 looks like it is 100 percent charged, which may also give an insight into the device's 3000 mAh battery capacity.

Early Rumored Specs

The Samsung Galaxy S8 is also expected to sport a 12MP rear and an 8MP front camera, with a screen resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The flagship device is also anticipated to be powered by the latest octa-core Snapdragon 835 processor and house 4 GB of RAM, as well as 64 GB of internal storage.

The smartphone is also expected to run on Android 7.0 Nougat. The Galaxy S8 is also rumored to support fast charging.

Apart from dropping the home button, early rumors also speculated about the fingerprint scanner, and leaks have suggested that it may be located to the right of the rear camera. An odd position for the security feature, which consumers may find troublesome.

The Samsung smartphone is also expected to feature "Always On-Display," which will allow users to check for the time and date without actually waking up the device.

With a few weeks to go for the Samsung press event, one will have to contend with catching a glimpse of the Galaxy S8 and its bigger sibling the Galaxy S8+ through leaks till the official unveiling happens.
