Apple has finally released the much awaited iOS 8.1.1 update, which brings bug fixes users' way.

On Monday, Nov. 17, Apple pushed out the iOS 8.1.1 over-the-air update which "includes bug fixes, increased stability and performance improvements for iPad 2 and iPhone 4S." The details on the update are sparse but iDevice users are optimistic that it will fix the previous niggles.

"Many of the bugs have been fixed but a few remain so it is helpful but isn't completely done yet. I would recommend changing some stuff in the system settings," noted a user on the Apple Support forum.

To install iOS 8.1.1 wirelessly, navigate to Settings > General > Software Update. The update weighs between 64MB and 364MB depending on the model of the iDevice.

The update also brings several security enhancements, which can be viewed here.
