Fitbit is the top name in the fitness and activity tracker game, and this Black Friday all four models of the Fitbit Activity Tracker can be had at great bargain, as the top retailers are all offering holiday deals.
Which store has the lowest price depends on which model you choose. All Fitbit trackers measure the number of steps taken, distance traveled, and calories burned, and sync wirelessly with the Fitbit app. There are two different versions of Fitbit trackers, the clip-on and the wristband.
The lower-priced clip version is the Zip, which covers the basic Fitbit functions and retails at a price of $59.95. Your choice of Black Friday deals on the Zip depends on whether you are willing to wait for the $25 gift card rebate Staples is offering, or would rather just purchase the Zip at Walgreens for an outright $10 dollar discount at $49.95.
The other Fitbit clip-on device, the One, has a convertible wristband that you can wear when sleeping, and will also measure sleep duration and quality, in addition to informing you how many times you've awakened during the night. The One is priced at $99.95 and the only retailer offering any kind of Black Friday deal on it is Staples, which is giving the same $25 gift card rebate as it is on the One.
The Flex has the same basic capabilities as the One but in a wristband, and is priced the same at $99.95. RadioShack, Target, Sports Authority and Kohl's are all giving $20 or $25 gift cards with the purchase of a Flex at regular price, but Best Buy is discounting it at a straight up $79.95, while Wal-Mart beats them all with its Black Friday deal of $69.95 that actually starts on Thanksgiving Day.
Finally, the Fitbit Charge is the most expensive model, and the extras in this wristband version include actual watch functionality, extended battery life, and a high-quality display that shows caller ID alerts when attached to your smartphone. The Charge normally goes for $129.95, but Target and Best Buy both have the same Black Friday pricing of $99.95, a nice discount on the highest-end Fitbit tracker.
