The best highest paying jobs in the survey for technology positions available, include Software Developer (#1 spot, 253,400 job openings), Information Security Analyst (#2 spot, 28,4000 job openings), IT Manager (#3 spot, 43,800 job openings), Computer Systems Analyst (#4 spot, 53,000 job openings), and Computer Network Architect (#5 spot, 10,400 job openings).

Financial Manager (#17 spot, 108,400 job openings), Financial Advisor (#19 spot, 39,300 job openings), and Business Operations Manager (#20 spot, 205,900 jobs) also made the 2018 Best Jobs list, as it's necessary to have problem-solving skills in various jobs across business and technology industries.

Major tech companies such as Apple, Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, Microsoft, Nvidia, and Tesla are always looking to hire Software Developers, Information Security Analysts, and IT Managers.

Software Developers have the potential to make an average salary of $100,800, followed by IT Manager ($135,800) and Information Security Analyst at $92,60 annually.

Engineers And Software Developers Are Changing The Job Market

"Technology is the backbone of many of our jobs across the board this year," said Kim Castro, executive editor at U.S. News in a statement. "Nearly every type of company is looking for people who can analyze and interpret data to solve problems. This technological boom is creating new opportunities for statisticians, engineers and software developers - these workers are developing the algorithms that are rapidly changing the global job market."

Lastly, the report shows that this is the first time that jobs in health care haven't made the 2018 best jobs in technology. Though, health care makes a mark on the list due to offering high salaries and low unemployment rates, according to U.S. News & World Reports survey.
