Due to the recent hacking at Sony that caused a huge scandal to now overshadow the company, we had suspected that someone would have to be fired. We believed this person would be Amy Pascal, and it appears we are not alone in our assumption.

Amy Pascal is the hot shot co-chair at Sony, and she has done an excellent job since working at the company. However, despite the things she had done, Pascal is the most notable Sony employee in this scandal, and the company would be looking to use her to set an example.

"Amy will be getting fired to set an example," according to the source who spoke with New York Daily News. "Everyone is really upset because Amy is beloved and a good person."

"Since it's a surprise for Amy's image, it had a larger impact and they are deciding if keeping her will make things worse for the company's image," the source said.

We should point out that Pascal was the person who greenlit "The Interview" that is at the center of this issue with the hackers to begin with. In the film, the United States dispatched two journalists to assassinate North Korean leader, Kim Jon Un.

We understand that several top executives at Sony questioned her future at the company, and even held conversations with her as well. The source claims that Pascal was practically begging not to be fired, but it doesn't appear as if Sony will tone down the heat.

"She kept saying over and over again that's not who she is," according to Rev. Al Sharpton.

"She apologized over and over," Sharpton added.

"But I told her that when I listen to the words, if they were said by somebody of another race about somebody of another race, they would not be tolerated."

Amy Pascal should begin looking for new work, because we doubt she'll be around at Sony after January of next year, especially if the hackers deliver on their promise of putting the company in its worst possible state on Christmas morning.

In the future, she would be wise enough to know that one should not place anger in company emails, especially with a corporation that has a knack to be hacked on a regular basis.
