Star Wars fans can now see a new take on the cult movie. How? The "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" trailer has been remade in the iconic game Grand Theft Auto V (GTA V).

This eclectic mix of a brilliant film franchise with one of the top-selling games from Rockstar Games is the brainchild of the folks at Powerlight-13, a YouTube channel.

The chaps at Powerlight-13 have recreated the entire "Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens" trailer inside the popular action game GTA V, which makes for a fun watch.

With 454,404 views and over 2000 likes to its credit (at the time of writing), the parody trailer may not be completely accurate and has certain limitations in terms of props the makers needed to work with. The recreated trailer of Star Wars does not have the speeder bikes or Millennium Falcon in the parody. The sci-fi fantasy also gets a slight demotion as the Millennium Falcon is now posing as a jet plane and the speeder bike is depicted by an ATV. If you're wondering about the rolling droid - it resembles a volleyball!

"I don't like star wars but this is pretty good. Great job +Powerlight-13," notes a viewer on YouTube.

"This was awesomely done. I wouldn't have minded it purely being done without any VFX, but very, very well done," notes another viewer.

Of course opinions are divided as an avid Star Trek buff begs to differ and asserts that "Star Trek is still better."

This is not the first parody from Powerlight-13. The creators have a plethora of GTA-based remakes with popular titles like Taken and Godzilla being the subjects of the rehash. Check out some of the other parodies from Powerlight-13 on their YouTube channel here.

"Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens" will hit theaters in the U.S. on Dec. 18. GTA V fans can indulge in GTA Online Heists and look forward to a few single-player DLCs in 2015.
