Samsung's Galaxy J line of budget Android smartphones will get two new members soon: the Galaxy J4 and Galaxy J6. Their specs have now leaked online, complete with Infinity Displays.

Samsung first introduced its sleek Infinity Display for flagship smartphones, but it eventually packed it onto other smartphones such as the Galaxy A8 (2018) and more are expected to get it.

The Infinity Display is tall, curved, with slim bezels, and an 18.5:9 aspect ratio, lending a premium look and feel.

It now looks like the Infinity Display is headed to the budget lineup, with the Galaxy J4 and Galaxy J6 expected to make their debuts soon enough as they were already spotted on Samsung's website. A new leak now reveals the specs of the upcoming smartphones.

Samsung Galaxy J6 Specs

The Samsung Galaxy J6 has a 5.6-inch AMOLED Infinity Display. The resolution is not mentioned, but it will likely be 1,480 x 780 pixels (HD+). A Samsung Exynos 7870 octa-core processor clocked at 1.6GHz powers the handset, and it would not bode well with a higher resolution.

Other specs include 2GB, 3GB, or 4GB of RAM, 32GB or 64GB of native storage space, microSD card support for additional storage, a 13-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel secondary camera with flash on the front, dual SIM support, a 3,000 mAh battery, and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.

On the software side, the handset is expected to come with Android 8.0 Oreo on board out of the box. The galaxy J6 will have a metal construction, which should lend a premium look in combination with the Infinity Display.

Samsung Galaxy J4 Specs

The Galaxy J4 will come with a 5.5-inch HD display (720p), an Exynos 7570 processor clocked at 1.4GHz, 2GB or 3GB of RAM (depending on market), a 13-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front shooter with flash, dual SIM support, and a 3,000 mAh battery. This smartphone will also come with Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.

No information is currently available as to when the Samsung Galaxy J4 and Galaxy J6 will become official or how much will they cost when they are ready to hit the market, but these leaked specifications indicate that they will come with a budget-friendly price tag.

As always, until Samsung formally unveils the devices, make sure to take all leaks, rumors, and speculation with a hefty grain of salt. Would you be interested in one of these smartphones? Let us know in the comments section below.
